Artigiano in Fiera is the world’s largest craft fair that is held regularly throughout the year, mainly in December in Milan, Italy. In 2023, the fair takes place from December 2 to December 10 in Fieramilano Rho-Pero. The fair is an ideal place for artisans from all over the world to present and tell their products to the world. In addition, Artigiano in Fiera 2023 is a “Phygital” event supported by a community of 1.5 million members who have registered on the digital platform in the last year to develop sustainable relationships with artisans. Not to forget, several Indonesian companies with the support of Indonesia Trade Promotion Center Milan, participated in this exhibition including Java Style, Hanna Collection Bali, Grace Art Bali and Mels Collection.
The four (4) Indonesian companies each showcased products that highlighted the beauty, craftsmanship and richness of Indonesian culture. Java Style is here to showcase some well-designed bag collections made from the sustainable resource that is rattan. Hanna Collection Bali, brought unique wooden crafts that can bring beauty in the home. Grace Art Bali, introduced many unique handcrafted items with one of the cutest products being the dreamcatcher. Mels Collection showcased handcrafted products in the form of beautiful and unique handmade silver jewelry.
In addition to the beauty, richness, and skill of Indonesian craftsmen captivating the global market, the key to the success of Indonesian participants at Artigiano in Fiera was the strong support from the Indonesia Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Milan. As an institution that focuses on export promotion, ITPC Milan provides strategic assistance to Indonesian artisans and craft industry players.
