The Salone del Mobile exhibition is held from 7 to 12 June in the city of Milan, in conjunction with Milan Design Week. Salone del Mobile is the most prestigious international exhibition in Italy for the furniture and interior sector. The exhibition covers an area of nearly 210,000 square meters at the Rho Fiera Milano exhibition arena, which showcases more than 2,300 of the most dynamic and creative companies in the global market, and more than 370,000 professional visitors attend each year. Milan Design Week itself is one of the most important design exhibition events in the world featuring various shows and events in hundreds of places in various locations in the city of Milan.
Hendro Hadinata, a young designer from Indonesia who successfully passed the curation and was selected to participate in the Salone Satellite, which is one of the events in the Salone del Mobile exhibition specifically for young designers under 35 years old. This event aims to facilitate the relationship between the business world and young designers in order to prepare themselves to enter the international market

The product exhibited by Hendro Hadinata is the ‘Eve Light’, which is an LED lamp made of silicone wrapped in metal/copper wicker made by artisans from Sumba. This light is removable and can be used to support outdoor activities, especially for children and people with wheelchairs. Copper material has been scientifically believed to help prevent the transmission of viruses.
In addition, Hendro Hadinata also exhibited several prototypes of his work that have been produced by companies in Indonesia. On June 10, 2022, ITPC Milan visited Hendro Hadinata’s stand in hall 3 Booth A20. ITPC Milan is proud and continues to support the promotion of various Indonesian products in the Italian market.
