Born in Jakarta on June 27, 1981, Mr. Jannes was appointed as the Deputy Director of ITPC Milan by the Minister of Trade on July 25, 2013. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness from Padjadjaran University, Bandung in 2005 and furthermore, Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree majoring in European Food and Agribusiness from both Wageningen University and Research (WUR) in Netherlands and Royal Agricultural University (RAU), United Kingdom in 2010.
Prior to his assignment in ITPC Milan, he worked in the Directorate of Standardization as the Head of Standards Information Section. Later on, he was selected as an assistant for Trade Attaché of Indonesian Embassy in Brussels, Belgium in 2011.
In his career journey, he has been involved in several international projects including United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and European Union – Indonesia Trade Support Programme (EU – RI TSP).
He was also one of the founders of Indonesia Technical Regulation Information Management System (INATRIMS), a system designed to help Indonesian Exporters to comply with standards and technical regulations in export destination countries.
His technical qualifications mainly succeeded in standards and quality area, namely Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), Total Quality Management (TQM), ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, Food Safety Management System (FSMS) 22000, WTO Agreement on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures at various institutions both domestic and international organizations.
